Moco Law : Require certain eating establishments to post nutrition information on menu
This was a paragraph in the Washington Post article about a new law that will take affect in July 1st. and some chain restaurant menus in Montgomery County will state “Recommended limits for f! 2,000 calorie daily diet are 20 grams of saturated fat and 2,300 milligrams of sodium.”
BTW how many calories is a Starbucks Coffee?
And if there’s any remaining resolve for New Year’s resolutions by July 1, patrons might glean some unwelcome news from a Montgomery law that will require calorie counts and salt and saturated fat totals to be posted or printed next to menu items at chain restaurants. A more detailed breakdown must be provided upon request.Read more at www.washingtonpost.com
